Phenix Technology, Inc. manufactures structural firefighting helmets for municipal fire departments, federal agencies, and military fire and emergency services. Products include the First Due injection molded thermoplastic helmet, the TC-1 lightweight traditional style helmet, and the TL-2 leather structural fire helmet, along with face shields, goggles, earlaps, brackets, and replacement components. All helmets are designed, tooled, and manufactured at our Riverside, California facility under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and are third party certified by the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) to Models First Due, TC-1, TL-2 NFPA 1970-2025 (NFPA 1971) and a American Made Manufacturer. Founded in 1972 and led by former firefighters with over 150 combined years of fire service experience, Phenix has produced certified fire helmets continuously for 53 years and has received the Presidential "E" Award for Excellence in Exporting in 2018.
